Finding Your Nutritional Truth

I was undernourished, unhappy, wishing for an answer before I found this lifestyle. I was scared that I wouldn't see my daughter grow up. I was over 70 pounds more than I had ever been in my life. I tried traditional diets. I tried the whole grains. I tried the all protein. I tried them all. Nothing worked. Then I went vegan and started using whole food supplementation for balancing out my system. I used food as my medicine and it worked.

So what are you doing??

--->  The basic principle here is to lean into eating vegan proteins as much as you can during this five day challenge. Eat those healthy fats, vegetables, some fruit in moderation, and some seeds.  If you want to do your own version of paleo pescatarian or vegetarian and add in a few clean eating items like wild caught sardines, wild caught salmon, pastured eggs, but make sure you avoid processed foods, lattes and juices (that are not cold pressed vegetables) during this 5 days. Think real food as nature intended it. For the most part, real foods don't have ingredients, they ARE the ingredient.  I understand everyone has certain restrictions so this isn't about everyone eating exactly the same it's about eating clean according to your needs and tastes.  For women with PCOS joining us I highly recommend you make complete grain-free/seed-free choices with all of the foods on the meal plan. If you suffer from adrenal fatigue or an autoimmune disorder I recommend you follow one of the other programs that I have available.

I have done my best to compile this and it's impossible to customize it to each one of you but if you need help with substitutions comment below.  Please keep in mind I did my best to make sure everything was on here.

You will be drinking 16-20 ounces of water every morning upon waking with the juice of one fresh lemon so the 7 lemons is accurate, since you need 1 per day and you need some for your recipes.
 

***I am recommending that you drink half your weight in ounces of water each day so if you weigh 175 you should drink 90 ounces of water.  Keep this in mind if you purchase you water by the gallon, this would be almost a gallon per day. (128 oz=1 gallon)

I thrive to share my natural plant infused paleo style of living and what I have found is connected to all of us within my practice for many years.  I like to biohack and upgrade my lifestyle using plant based foods (vegetables, fruits, berries and omegas) with myself, my family and in my practice for the emotional and physical shift they offer, and because of the science and biology that backs up using dense micro-nutrients. Over the last four years I have found that micro-nutrients facilitate body processes and is one of the biggest opportunities we have to simply create a body shift quickly. In today’s world not every plant is created equal or in equal soil. What we eat, is who we are. Like the plant, we require nourished roots.

I hope to introduce you to some information about the properties of fruits and vegetables on this journey, and perhaps you will find the power of plants in your own life.
