Stage 1 Gut Healing Program: Removal

During Stage 1 of your 4 stage Gut Healing Program, the focus will be removing common sensitivities or intolerances, healing leaky gut and killing off unwanted bacteria so that we can later re-establish with healthy bacteria. This stage will be around 6-8 weeks in total and can also be done alongside stage two. 

During the remove stage, the focus will be removing gluten, dairy, egg, soy, corn, wheat, nuts, and legumes as they are all common allergens.  This stage will also focus on both low glycemic index foods, sugar-free options and low histamine foods. This collection will be focussed on including low FODMAP foods and will also have a Paleo focus with a huge emphasis on quality protein + sauteed or lightly steamed low FODMAP vegetables.

Additionally, ginger and peppermint will be included in recipes to help soothe the gut.  

We welcome you to review the reading articles to learn how to navigate this program. You can also use your Food Journal to get an idea of what foods may trigger digestive upset, systemic inflammation or cause a reaction in your body.
